Anahata Somatic Therapy

Healing through compassion, connection, and embodied awareness

Queer affirming • Trauma-informed • Sex-positive • Holistic

❋ On the traditional and ancestral lands of the Duwamish people past and present ❋

Anāhata is the heart center —
associated with compassion, love, and forgiveness.

In Sanskrit, Anāhata (ah-NAH-hah-tah | अनाहत) means “unstruck” or “unhurt,” referring to a deeper truth within us that remains whole beneath our experiences, wounds, and protective patterns.

It is a bridge between our relationship with ourselves and the ways we connect and relate to others, inviting in empathy, compassion, and vulnerability, creating space for healing, openness, and authentic connection.

Anāhata invites clarity, connection, and spaciousness—qualities that encourage us to slow down, soften, and expand.

A young woman with dark hair and green eyes smiling, wearing large hoop earrings, a septum nose ring, tattoos on her chest, a black top with lace detail, a light cardigan, black belt with a decorative buckle, and black jeans, standing against a dark background.

I'm a somatic therapist and sex therapist with a background in art therapy, sex education, and yoga.

I believe that healing is not just an individual journey—it is a collective, embodied process shaped by our histories, identities, relationships, and lived experiences.

My work is grounded in understanding how trauma, attachment, and the world around us shape our nervous system, relationships, and sense of self. I offer an inclusive and nourishing space to unpack cycles of connection and disconnection, strengthen communication, develop tools to navigate conflict, repair ruptures, and better understand your wants and needs more clearly.

Together, we make sense of your experiences while building awareness of the patterns, emotions, and protective strategies shaping how you move through life.

An embodied, holistic

approach to therapy

My work is deeply trauma-focused and grounded in nervous system healing, helping clients move beyond survival patterns and reconnect with themselves more fully.

I integrate somatic therapy, expressive arts, attachment work, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and sex therapy to support healing that goes beyond traditional talk therapy.

I offer an affirming and supportive space to reconnect with your body, emotions, relationships, and inner experience while developing practical tools to navigate stress, intimacy, and life with greater self-awareness and trust.

Through curiosity, compassionate self-exploration, and learning to show up as you are, deeper clarity, healing, and self-understanding can unfold over time.
